MY PERSONAL MISSION
Caroline Strawson
hello, I'm Caroline Strawson.
I'm a multi-award winning Trauma Therapist & Coach and founder of The School of Trauma Informed Positive Psychology.
In 2010, I experienced a series of life-changing traumatic events. My mum, who was my rock, died very suddenly, and my husband walked out on me and our two children.
I was left with over $85,000 worth of debt and at that time; I didn't even realise I'd been in an abusive marriage with a covert narcisisst. I was at rock bottom, a shell of myself.
Eventually, I was diagnosed with complex PTSD, and realised that I was suffering from depression, anxiety, panic attacks, and self harm. All the while thinking "How could an intelligent woman like myself, with a medical background, find herself in this situation!?!"
I felt alone, isolated, and in a very dark place as no-one seemed to understand what I was going through. This just perpetuated my feelings of not feeling worthy or good enough.
Today, my life looks VERY different to those beginnings. Prioritising my healing as I built and scaled my business was a key factor in my success. I had to do the inner work to make this outer growth possible. And I now run a very successful multi-7 figure business.
